So....I came back into town on the 28th.. last Wednesday.. and well this is how it went

So we had everything set out and ready for our flight in the morning. All the clothes and presents that we received from Christmas were packed and we only took 10 minutes to get out of the door and on the freeway.

Got to the airport and had no problems checking in or getting our baggage all sorted out. Ran into my Grandmother on the way to our gate and got some Starbucks with her since we all had time till we had to get on our flights.

Once we broke off with Grandmother and got to our gate we found that we were going to be a little late since the plane was just disembarking and we had like 5 minutes till we were supposed to be in the air.

that is when things started to get shitty....

We were in the emergency exit seats, more room for very little responsibility. Except that the stewardess was a bitch and really arrogant about the following instructions and reading the emergency procedures. Which I can tell you are completely useless when all the exits tell you how to use them anyhow...and i've seriously been on over 100 flights so it's grating to have to listen to it again and again and again.....

It was bumpy.. not the kind that shakes you from you seat but just bumpy enough to get my motion sickness acting up. Which means that I was feeling sick the entire way. Not a good feeling and I had to force myself to sleep or I would have ended up getting ill all over, of course having the window seat the option to escape and run to the bathroom would have been impossible.

So we finally get to out stop and for our plane switch.. which we find out is still on time... problem being that we only had a 40 minute lay-over in the first place. And it had gotten shorter since our first plane was late. We ended up getting there with only 2 people ahead of us... we seriously boarded in the last five people.

Of course this had to be while still nauseous and having not eaten anything in the morning because we had planned on time to grab something at our stop (guess that wasn't a good idea).

All in all the traveling wasn't so bad on the second flight other then the normal small spaces and irritation of being nauseous during the flight again.

SO... we get home.. try and make sure our baggage actually made it on the plane.. so we ask an attendant at baggage.... it took like 5 minutes and three people to finally tell us that they don't have a way to check that and we should look around and see if our bags are with the other ones not picked up yet...this was being said of course by the idiots that didn't realize that our bags were still being unloaded from the airplane...>.< fucking retards......

So one good thing would be that our bags were still on the plane and we didn't have any troubles getting them. We get to the shuttle for the long term parking.. and I find out my 150 dollar backpack is totally fucking ruined... one of the metal pieces for the support structure ripped through it's fabric outer-layering. So it's fucked....*grumbles* i really liked it too dammit

so.. we get to the car.. which smells funny cuz it's been sitting for so long.. we start heading home.. and realize that it's going to be a while till we get there so we should stop somewhere for some food.

We pick the friendly looking McDonald's in the Catalina Market gas station...word of advice... never eat there.. worst service ever.. and VERY SLOW!!!

It took ten minutes of waiting for us to order when there were only two people in front of us.. and another ten just to get our food...

Kicker was that we both ordered chicken sandwiches... and wouldn't you know it.. i got the two bottom halves and my mother got the two tops... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I can tell you I wasn't in the best of moods when I went up there to get some ranch for my burger... the manager tried to tell the worker not to give me the salad dressing version but my look or pure rage made him mumble and back up a bit and let the guy give me my god-damned ranch
